Val Martin
Corporate Development

From an early age, Val dreamed of becoming a schoolteacher. Though her professional path led her into the corporate world, the heart of an educator never left her. Her time in Corporate America became more than a career—it became a proving ground. As Val reflects, “Working in Corporate America taught me the power of understanding my own value. Knowing your worth is essential—not only for personal growth but for professional success. It sharpens your skills, helps you balance ambition with well-being, and teaches you how to build meaningful, lasting relationships. It’s where you learn to grow with purpose while protecting your inner peace.”

Val’s career spans diverse industries, including manufacturing, finance, transportation, and telecommunications, with experience across both nonprofit and for-profit sectors. A natural leader, Val brings passion, integrity, and intentionality to every role. She has led major projects, mentored emerging professionals, and gone above and beyond to support her teams—consistently proving her value through action, not just words. Her instinct to nurture, guide, and inspire reflects the educator she always envisioned herself becoming.

At her core, Val is a mentor, strategist, and servant leader. Her transition into nonprofit work has reignited her passion for teaching—only now, the classroom is the community. She empowers others to discover their potential, embrace their self-worth, and take meaningful steps toward personal and professional growth.

Val is an ideal fit for MSI Global Campus because she lives and breathes its mission. Her corporate background provides strategic depth; her nonprofit experience brings compassion and relevance. She leads with insight, mentors with purpose, and serves with a heart for change. With her unwavering commitment to equity, growth, and impact, Val is a driving force for the transformative work MSI Global Campus is doing to uplift communities and change lives.
